I am a 49 year old wife, and mother of two great body talking kids. We are all BodyTalkers in our family! I have a Bachelor of Education and a Physical Education degree from Dalhousie University and have taught elementary school for many years. I have recently retired from teaching to work with people and animals in Facilitated Personal Development and Healing. Body Talk fits right in and is a wonderful way to enhance and deepen our training results with all animals, and their humans!

In January 2009 I was very excited to become a BodyTalk Access Trainer, as we have seen in our practice and our own lives, just how powerful Access can be for animals and humans alike. I have recently completed my Advanced certification in BodyTalk to serve our clients better. I have also completed levels 1 and 2 of Reconnective Healing and Levels 1 and 2 of Matrix Energetics.

Our BodyTalk practice is expanding rapidly in our teaching of BodyTalk Access and private sessions in both BodyTalk and AnimalTalk. Our goal in the next year is to offer all Body Talk programs at our new integrated wellness retreat, Namaste Nova, here in Nova Scotia, where we focus on integrated, experiential healing opportunities and wellness programs for both humans and animals. We are also located in the beautiful Genesis Chiropractic & Wellness Centre in Halifax and loving it!

Jocelyn Pulchny is a BodyTalk and BreakThrough practitioner in the village of Bear River, Nova Scotia. She discovered BodyTalk in February 2009 through a BodyTalk Access class, and knew immediately that this “consciousness based health care” was her path. With a background in Reiki, energy medicine was not new to Jocelyn.

“When I discovered that BodyTalk allows the innate wisdom of one’s own body to prioritize healing, I knew it was the right fit.”

Having served in with the Canadian Forces for ten years, Jocelyn hopes to bring awareness of BodyTalk to military members and their families, especially to those suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Jocelyn’s practice includes work with both animals and people in Bear River and Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Studies are ongoing, with BodyTalk Advanced modules and Breakthrough.

In order to be a clear mirror for others, we must do our own work first.

Donald’s background is in the area of Physical Education and Sport studies, (Kinesiology), where he holds a PhD degree. Don is currently working on a Bachelor of Fine Art degree and, after taking all of the Advanced Modules and PaRama Unit 1, he is investigating and studying ways to link art/creativity/colour with BodyTalk in an “Other Modality” form.

My first experience with Bodytalk was in 2007 when my horse was struck with a debilitating foot condition. I was captivated as I watched his reactions and became aware of the sensations in my own body during his first session. At that particular time in my life, I had been working at a job that was less than fulfilling and I found myself yearning for something that would hold more meaning in my life. To say that I found it would be an understatement. As I embarked on my journey through the Bodytalk system and accompanying life sciences my world was turned upside down in the best possible way. I began to view the world from the level of consciousness. Along with this new viewpoint, came a profound realization that as my thoughts changed so did the world around me!

Over the course of the following year my horse grew a new set of healthy hooves. As I look back now, I can see how that coincided precisely with the foundations I was building for my own new life to unfold on. It has been a journey of awakening and self discovery which continues to be revealed. In 2010, I left my job and became a certified Bodytalk practitioner.

It is my strong belief that when we allow information that the body carries to be processed and integrated with our powerful intellect, we are equipping ourselves with a resource that is far superior to the intellect alone. By consulting the innate wisdom of the body using the Bodytalk system, a chain of events is set in motion that could never be accomplished with the intellect alone. The resultant changes in our health and behaviour lead to a better quality of life and improved relationships with others.

I live in beautiful Pictou County, Nova Scotia on a lovely 13 acre hobby farm with my husband and our family of horses, goats, chickens, cats, a dog, and one very special dove. As you can see, animals play an important role in my life. I have great passion for giving back to them for the immense services they provide and the joy they bring to our lives. Animals are natural healers and when given the opportunity, will visibly engage and facilitate healing for themselves and the people they care about. Bodytalk is a powerful tool for bringing this phenomenon into our awareness.
